As the graft is milled with the mimetic design of the patient's bone loss, the fit and stability will be 100%. Because they are fixed with osteosynthesis screws, there are no micro movements detrimental to the success of guided bone regeneration.

The bone graft Bone4U is indicated only for treatment of horizontal bone defects, vestibular bone defects.

In custom grafts with an excessive volume, as in cases of vertical bone growth, due to the porosity of the block, they have an influx of deficient bone cells to the area to be regenerated.

 1. Boneeasy is a partner of a free online platform - Tailoredimplant - where you can design your custom mesh. However, you can also ask the Boneeasy team to design your mesh, adding the value of this service.

 2. You should www.tailoredimplant.com and create your registration as a doctor. You should join a clinic if the product has to be billed to you instead of you.   

3. After registration, download the Tailoredimplant software for your computer. It should have Windows system. The download area is at the bottom of the page. Choose the "Get Full Version" option. The software will be on your computer for use when you need it.

4. Open the Tailoredimplant software. The first phase that appears to you is the construction of the 3D model of the bone. You will need to load the DICOM files in "SELECT DICOM"

5. Select the files, press "IMPORT / UPDATE" An incomplete template will appear in the window below.

6. To obtain the complete model, you must adjust the display on the "THRESHOLD FILTER" button until the complete model appears. The ideal is not to have holes or excesses in the image. When finished, press "NEXT" and the gray image will appear as in the image. If you are satisfied with the image, press "CONFIRM"

7. Then you will be directed to the modeling page where you will do the mesh drawing. When it is open, press "START". For drawing you need a mouse with scroll ball. WARNING: will only draw the volume you need to regenerate. The mesh will be designed by the Boneeasy team and then submitted for validation.

8. The 3D Model will appear and you will need to delete the parts you do not need. With the right mouse button make a spot on an area you need (see image) and select in the sidebar "REMOVE NON-LINKED". Repeat the process until you have the model without interference. Click the mouse wheel and move it to rotate the model so you can see it from multiple angles. At the end of this phase click on "NEXT".

9. To see the model as in the image, click on "TOGGLE BONE TRANSPERANCY". Select the supplier of your product in "SELECT GRAFT", choose "BONEEASY - MESH4U". Then press "NEXT"

10. This step is optional. Allows to place dummy implants that will guide you in the construction of the volume to be regenerated. Place your cursor over where you want to import them, choose the size and click on "IMPORT IMPLANT". Repeat for the number of implants you wish.

11. You can reposition the implants by selecting the "MANIPULATOR ROTATE", "MANIPULATOR TRANSLATE" and "MANIPULATOR SCALE" functions and using the left mouse button. Change the transparency in "TOGGLE BONE TRANSPERANCY" to evaluate the interference of the implants with anatomical structures (nerve, maxillary sio ...)

12. Place the cursor where you want to import the graft. Press "IMPORT GRAFT".   Use the "MANIPULATOR TRANSLATE", "MANIPULATOR ROTATE" and "MANIPULATOR SCALE" functions to adjust the block size and position.

13. You should get a block of this kind that covers the dummy implants used. If the created volume is sufficient and your position too, do "NEXT" in order to smooth the block.

14. The blocks should be in continuity with the patient's bone. You can not have stairs. To do this, use the "ADD" function if you want to increase the block and the "SUBTRACT" function if you want to decrease it. It also has the variables "SIZE" that gives you the size of the area that will be influenced by the action and "STRENGTH" that gives the strength with which you see the change.

15. You have to rotate the template to apply each action. Because "ADD" or "SUBTRACT" act in the direction in which the model is positioned. The second image has the transparency of the bone to see the part of the block inside the bone. You do not want to have too much. Position the model as in the 3rd image and select "SUBTRACT" and increase "STRENGTH" until the middle of the bar and wear until the inside of the bone does not have red areas. Make "NEXT".

16. A warning appears that the block will be separated from the model. Press "OK". The part inside the block should be eliminated by placing the block in position (as in the image) so that they are eliminated without deleting important parts of the block. Select the one you want with the left mouse button and then "DELETE SELECTION"

17. When erasing all that is necessary, do "NEXT". The next floor is the placement of test osteosynthesis screws. This phase is not necessary because the Boneeasy team does the study of the position of the screws when it draws the mesh for its later approval. You can do "NEXT".

18. Fill in the requested data. Name for the clinical case (at your choice) and the patient's full name. Here you have the price information of the mesh according to the supplier who chose, in this case, Boneeasy. The price shown does not include taxes. If you accept the displayed value, make "EXPORT GRAFT" and your request is submitted. Go to Tailoredimplant, enter your login and confirm in "ORDERS" your request.



Bone4U is a synthetic biphasic graft, sintered as a block. It should be inserted directly in contact with the bone in the following steps:

1. Supra crestal incision wide, passing at least 1 cm from the end of the graft. Vertical incisions should be avoided. (Figure 1)

2. Elevation of periosteum with full thickness flaps

3. Cut the periosteum 5 mm below the edge of each flap (does not apply to the palatine flaps). (Figure 2)

4. Perforation of the cortical bone must be done to gain access to the bone marrow cells. (Figure 3)

5. Position the graft where it was designed.

6. Drill holes for osteosynthesis screws

7. Secure the graft with screws (Figure 4)

8. Debridement of the periosteum to eliminate tension

9. Suture with PTFE 2/0 wire, with U-stitches. Give a second bed of continuous stitches with non-resorbable single-suture (polypropylene) suture (Figure 5)

10. Antibiotic therapy for 10 days.

11. Remove the suture at the end of 16 days.
